On November 20, the forum on inclusion “Innovative approaches to working with children with neuropsychic development disorders and young disabled people” started at the Russian House in Tashkent.
The forum is attended by managers and specialists of organizations working with special children, as well as with their parents.
In the mode of an open dialogue and a round table, participants from Russia and Uzbekistan exchanged modern methods and practices for the development of children with intellectual disabilities.

Inga Zhgenti – Deputy Director of the Charitable Foundation for the Promotion of Socio-Cultural Initiatives and Guardianship “Lifestyle” (Moscow, Russian Federation), Head of the Center for Day Employment of Children with Disabilities and young disabled people “House under the Sun”;
Elena Agafonova is a teacher–defectologist with more than 25 years of experience, director of inpatient institutions for orphans (15 years of experience), author of more than 10 scientific publications on approaches to organizing the work of educational institutions for children in need of psychological, pedagogical, medical and social assistance in the conditions of modernization of education;
Marianna Gerasimova is a public figure in the field of culture and art, director, musician, art therapist, PhD, head of the regional social movement “Young and Successful” of the Republic of Tatarstan, associate professor of Kazan Innovation University.
On November 21, the Forum will continue on the site of the Republican Center for Social Adaptation of Children.
