On September 29, the Russian House in Chisinau presented the theoretical lyceum “Olympus” with the fiction and educational literature published in Russia. The transfer was held within the framework of the project “Russian book as a gift”.
The lyceum library’s collection has been replenished with works by classics of Russian literature Mikhail Lermontov and Nikolai Gogol, Fyodor Dostoevsky and Ivan Turgenev, Nikolai Leskov, Leo Tolstoy, Anton Chekhov and other authors. The gift collection also includes popular novels and short stories by contemporary children’s writers Sofia Prokofieva, Andrei Usachev, Evgenia Rusinova and others. Most of the publications are designed to expand the extracurricular reading of schoolchildren and serve as material for cultural and educational events.
And the study of Russian language and literature received test subject assignments for grades 5-9, collections of dictation, tables on grammar and speech culture for grades 5-11 and manuals on entertaining linguistics.
