Teacher-psychologist Anna Prosvernina conducted a master class for children with disabilities in the sensory room. Using a sand table and color illumination, the children plunged into the world of magical sand, learned about its properties and characteristics, found treasures, laid paths with animal tracks, left palm prints for memory, buried and dug up wild animals, drew patterns. At the end of the lesson, they shook hands in farewell, forming a circle of friendship.
Clinical psychologist Ekaterina Yemelyanova taught young patients motor-compositional exercises with elements of theatricalization. They performed tasks for emancipation, removal of muscle clamps, development of coordination and plasticity of movements. The children trained their communication skills and acted as student actors, tried to portray mobile characters and inanimate objects, used body language and breathing.
Canister therapist Olga Usova and dog Michelle conducted a developmental lesson on the method of treatment with animals, and also helped the children to find differences and similarities between dogs and humans. The children fantasized a little and played the role of young trainers.
