On August 2, Russia Day was held in Artek. Children from 52 countries got acquainted with Russian history, its traditions and cultural heritage of different peoples.
Each camp presented games and dances in national costumes and decorations of different cities of Russia. Artek residents could also visit the stations “Hello, Kazakhstan”, “Interesting facts about Lebanon”, “Folklore dance “Dabki”” and others. There were more than 80 sites in total, where everyone found something to their liking.
Schoolchildren also took part in the “City of Masters”. In creative studios, they created Artek friendship bracelets, crafts made of dried flowers and paper, shot arrows, tried themselves in esports, djing, acting, plunged into the world of tourism and sports, and also passed film auditions.
