On October 3, representatives of 13 Asian countries gathered in Hanoi. For the first time, graduates of Russian and Soviet universities, university rectors, representatives of the Rosatom State Corporation met in Asia to build a dialogue and discuss future cooperation in the field of education, healthcare and personnel training.
“The holding of this forum in Hanoi testifies to the close attention that Russia pays to graduates of Soviet and Russian universities, to those people who graduated from our universities and who, together with Russia, are developing relations between our countries”, said Pavel Shevtsov, Deputy Head of Rossotrudnichestvo at the opening of the forum.
Heads of universities and leaders of the healthcare sector from South, East and Southeast Asia exchanged professional experience and opinions, as well as met with representatives of ministries of Vietnam.
Pavel Shevtsov stressed that the worldwide network of graduates serves as a basis for the development and strengthening of relations among Russia’s partner countries.
The forum is organized by Rossotrudnichestvo.
