Students and lyceum students of the Moscow State University branch opened the national stage of “Clean Games” on September 13. 140 young people were racing to collect garbage along the embankment of Dushanbe.
The Games have already been held in 30 countries around the world. This is a team competition to clean up nature from garbage, where participants search for artifacts, solve environmental puzzles, collect and share garbage, getting points for it.
118 bags were collected in an hour. As the guys admitted, the work turned out to be difficult, but very interesting, grateful – to make their hometown cleaner. And the best teams were awarded with memorable gifts from the Russian House in Dushanbe and a package of unlimited Internet from MegaFon Tajikistan.
In the next two weeks, similar “Clean Games” will be held by other universities of Tajikistan – a branch of MISIS, RTSU, the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, TNU, the University of Foreign Languages. A total of 6 games are planned, as a result of which a team will be formed, which will be represented at the Eurasian Purity Cup-2024.
The event was held with the support of the Presidential Grants Fund, Rossotrudnichestvo and the Committee on Youth and Sports of Tajikistan.
