From October 16 to 20, a group of doctors from Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia and Kyrgyzstan were trained at advanced training courses for doctors in the field of diagnostics and neurorehabilitation of resuscitation patients. The organizer of the event is Rossotrudnichestvo.
The audience was given remote lectures and master classes by leading Russian specialists, and the practical part was implemented on the basis of the Federal Scientific and Clinical Center for Resuscitation and Rehabilitation under the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia.
In the Simulation Center, foreign specialists were trained in emergency care skills in situations as close to real as possible. Using modern robot dummies and special technical equipment, they honed teamwork with the most difficult patients. In the clinic of the Research Institute of Rehabilitation, doctors learned diagnostic methods and stages of neurorehabilitation of patients in a chronic critical condition.
Evgeny Merenkov, anesthesiologist-resuscitator, employee of the National Scientific Oncological Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan: “We learned about such technologies as brain cooling, the use of VR glasses, video communication with relatives, saw the use of specialized equipment, artificial intelligence and the work of narrow specialists – all the tools that are used to “wake up the sleeping brain” of a person in a critical neural state and his further rehabilitation. Upon returning home, we will make detailed reports for all relevant institutions in Kazakhstan and share the experience gained”.
At the end of the training, all doctors passed a special exam and received certificates of advanced training.
