What, besides the fascinating nature, do the guests of Altai dream of seeing? Of course, one of the most high-profile finds of recent years is the Ukoka Princess!
Participants of the “New Generation” program managed to look at the perfectly preserved mummy of a woman who died about 2.5 thousand years ago. Young leaders from Azerbaijan, Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan came to the III International Forum “Unity of Slavic and Turkic Peoples in History and Modernity”.
Experts will discuss the collective response to the new challenges facing the Turkic peoples of Central Asia, and will get acquainted with the discoveries of archaeologists, ethnographers, culturologists and philologists regarding the formation of the Turkic world and its current situation.
“It is very interesting to see the relics of the Ukok Princess. I am a historian, it was very exciting to touch the history of Altai, which has been preserved in a unique way to this day. Thanks to Rossotrudnichestvo”, Medetbek Alymbek uulu from Kyrgyzstan shares his impressions.
