More than 50 young leaders from 25 countries took part in the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum under the “New Generation” program. Among them are scientists and entrepreneurs, volunteers and representatives of public organizations, bankers and industrialists, members of political parties, employees of government departments and educational institutions.
At the forum, foreign experts actively discussed global trends. For example, together with the young leaders of the Friends for Leadership community, they discussed the problems of energy, digitalization, economic processes and security in the IT sphere. They also touched upon issues of geopolitics — at a meeting with the Head of Rossotrudnichestvo, Yevgeny Primakov, they talked about the reorientation of Russia to friendly countries. Getting a Russian education and further work in Russia also became interesting topics for foreigners.
In addition, during these days, the young leaders tried themselves in the ecological garbage collection game “Clean Games”, enjoyed the estate and Peterhof Park, the Hermitage and walked around the center of St. Petersburg.
