“The Russian people are among the most easily assimilated. Tens of millions of Russians living abroad may sooner or later stop associating themselves with Russia. We need our compatriots. Therefore, I believe that repatriation is a noble task”. Yevgeny Primakov staited it at a meeting with students of the North Caucasus Federal University on November 14. He also emphasized that the Agency in Stavropol has a partner – the “The Way Home” NPO – that helps at all stages of moving to Russia.
More than 200 students and high school students came to ask the Head of Rossotrudnichestvo questions that they were interested in. They spoke about geopolitics, the problem of personnel drain, Russia’s interaction with foreign countries and the demand for Russian education among foreigners.
Primakov noted that there are several industries where Russian specialists are strong: medicine, programming, art. These are our “premium products” and we work with them.
“We need to understand how we can interest foreigners, so that they want to learn Russian and accept our culture, and are interested in cooperation. It needs to be mutual benefit, then we will have stronger allies and a stronger understanding”, Primakov noted.
