Within the framework of the “New Generation” program, young specialists from Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Serbia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan arrived in the capital.
At the Russian State Library, participants were presented with national projects on the ecosystem of Russian libraries, which includes more than 1,000 institutions in regions and small towns, and they were also told about the national electronic library.
Foreign specialists were interested in the procedure for connecting to a digital database, which includes books, manuscripts, documents, sheet music and much more. Young professionals shared their best practices and talked about the work of institutions in their countries.
The participants also visited the Russian State Children’s Library and the Russian State Library for Youth.
