Russian Space Center of the Russian Language and Culture was launched in the Republic of Mali on December 13. With the support of the Government of the Russian Federation, the Patrice Lumumba Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia and the University of Literature and Humanities of Bamako have organized permanent Russian language courses to prepare applicants for study at Russian universities.
Russian Space Center for Russian Language and Culture is a landmark event and a starting point for long-term cooperation between Russian universities and universities of the Republic of Mali,” said Pavel Shevtsov, Deputy Head of Rossotrudnichestvo.
Russian Space centers are being opened in African countries to train foreign applicants and improve their level of proficiency in the Russian language. This will help them study at universities in Russia.
