“Education is the formation of ideas about the world, and Russia is just embedded in the great global process of fighting to build a picture of the future”.
Pavel Shevtsov, Deputy Head of Rossotrudnichestvo, said this on January 18 at a speech to students of leading Russian universities within the framework of the international exhibition and forum “Russia” at VDNH.
During the lecture on “Why they go to study in Russia” he stressed the special role of Rossotrudnichestvo in promoting Russian humanitarian policy. He also named maintaining interest in Russia abroad, promoting domestic technological potential and facilitating the adaptation of foreign students in our country among the key tasks of the department.
At the same time, Pavel Shevtsov noted that the Agency is the operator of the quota of the Russian Government. “Educational quotas for foreigners are an instrument of our country’s foreign policy influence”, he added.
Among the advantages of studying in Russia, Shevtsov highlighted the high quality of education, the cultural code and great opportunities for personal growth.
