“We didn’t have to persuade him at all. It was only a question of his schedule. The President of Serbia visited the Russian House as a child. According to him, it is one of the most important places in his life and childhood”, commented the Head of the Russian House Evgeny Baranov on Aleksandar Vucic’s visit to the Rossotrudnichestvo office in Belgrade.
On January 10, the Serbian president received a library card of the centre’s library and wrote his impressions in Serbian and Russian in the book of reviews. “He also asked to see our Shalyapin cinema concert hall, where his father used to take him to watch Soviet cartoons. Aleksandar Vucic’s favourite was ‘The Humpbacked Horse'”, Baranov said.
TV presenter Bosko Kozarski presented to the country’s leader the best moments of the series about Russia for the popular Serbian TV programme “Kulturista”. According to the Head of the Russian House in Belgrade, Aleksandar Vucic has repeatedly said that he enjoys watching all the series. Bosko Kozarski shared that the plans include filming in the North Caucasus and Vladivostok.
“After receiving the library card, the president said he would arrange a pleasant surprise for us and would come one day to the library unannounced”, Baranov said.
