On December 17, the second geological “Karpinsky Class” was opened in Ethiopia. The Russian House in Addis Ababa became the platform for its implementation. The project was created with the support of Rosnedra and the “United Russia” Party, the operator is the Karpinsky Institute.
Thanks to the class, the promotion of the best Russian geological practices in the field of subsoil use, the exchange of professional experience between specialists from different countries, internships and joint field work will be created.
“The Russian Geological School is in great demand abroad. I am sure that our idea of creating the “Karpinsky Classes”, which is being implemented, will allow us to create an additional mechanism for scientific support of joint projects in geology and subsoil use”, said Pavel Khimchenko, Director General of the Karpinsky Institute.
On December 14, the first geological “Karpinsky Class” was opened in the Republic of Ghana.
