Walls with graffiti in the Russian style appeared in Chile. These days, an international street art festival is taking place in Santiago, which is attended by a creative association from Russia, along with 180 participants from all over the world (Chile, Bolivia, Colombia, Costa Rica, Brazil, Mexico, Russia, Peru, Sweden, Ecuador, Germany, USA, Morocco, Italy, Bolivia, Uruguay, Finland, etc.).
The artists presented works in the author’s style with elements of the cultural code. Graffiti appeared on one of the buildings in the center of the capital with the image of the “Victory” car and the sights of major Russian cities – Moscow, St. Petersburg, Krasnoyarsk and Nizhnevartovsk.
With the support of the Russian House in Chile, the second work of art was executed on the building of the Bernard O’Higgins University Teaching Hospital.
There are many secret codes encrypted in the work. In addition to the traditional samovar, the figure shows a part of the peaceful atom in the form of birch and South American copiue flowers. In addition, the shades of the Chilean flag are guessed in the image.
“In addition, we have planned several interesting projects together with the Russian House in Santiago. In particular, a series of master classes for young people. After all, graffiti is a great communication tool, with which you can not only express yourself, but also get to know each other better”, commented Egor Gerasimov, artist, Head of the creative association “EffectGraff”.
