On November 2, the first Russian language learning support center in Kyrgyzstan opened in the building of the Chui Regional Library in Kant. This is a new modern educational space where everyone can learn Russian, get acquainted with the culture of Russia and Kyrgyzstan. Creative meetings and discussions can also be held here. Rossotrudnichestvo has equipped the center with equipment, necessary literature and furniture specially designed for this purpose by the leading Russian manufacturer – “Belsi” company. The “Russkiy Mir” Foundation, “Alliance Altyn” Company and Naryn State University also provided assistance.
In total, three Russian language learning centers will operate in Kyrgyzstan with the support of Rossotrudnichestvo. In addition to the center in Kant, they will be located at Naryn State University (Naryn region) and Talas State University (Talas region).
“The Russian language centers will significantly improve the opportunities for learning the Russian language, increase the availability of high-quality educational and fiction literature, the centers themselves will become a place of attraction for young people and everyone who is interested in the Russian language, Russia, educational opportunities in our country”, said Pavel Shevtsov, Deputy Head of Rossotrudnichestvo.
By the end of the year, Rossotrudnichestvo plans to equip 31 centers in 16 CIS countries, the Middle East, Africa and Asia.
