The evening dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the birth of the great Russian composer Sergey Rachmaninoff was held with great success in the Argentine province of San Juan. It gathered local fans of Russian culture, representatives of the media, public, scientific, business and cultural circles.
The Russian House in Buenos Aires, together with the Russian National Museum of Music, opened a historical and documentary exhibition dedicated to the life and work of the great Russian composer in the most emblematic cultural center of the city, Auditorio Juan Victoria, as part of the event. There was also a concert performed by students of the National University of San Juan.
The event was organized by the Russian House with the active participation of the FIPPE Foundation, Ahora San Juan and TV Brics publications with the support of the Secretariat for Culture of San Juan Province, the National University of San Juan and the Juan Victoria Cultural Center.
