On December 13, Irina Bogatikova, an art critic, curator of exhibitions, honorary member of the Eurasian Art Union, Guild of Art Critics and Art Critics, became a guest of the Russian House in Washington.
At the lecture, Irina spoke about the history of art and the differences between modern and academic art. In addition, she explained how to understand contemporary art and shared her experience of visiting exhibitions and biennales around the world, where promising Russian artists exhibit.
At the end of the lecture, Irina answered numerous questions from the audience, and also participated in a discussion about the state of modern American art.
