The role of the CSTO as a new factor in the strengthening of collective security in Europe and Asia was discussed in Bratislava

On May 17, the International Center for Science and Culture in Bratislava hosted the international round table "CSTO as a new factor of influence on the processes of strengthening collective security, ensuring peace and stability in Europe and Asia

It was deducated to the 25th anniversary of the signing of the Collective Security Treaty and the 15th anniversary of education The organization, organized by the Russian Embassy in Slovakia and the Russian Center for Science and Culture in cooperation with the embassies of Armenia, Belarus, the Chancellery of the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Slovakia.

The speeches of the heads of diplomatic missions of the CSTO member states stressed the particularly important role of the organization in ensuring the security of its member countries and in the Eurasian space. The parties identified the fight against terrorism, extremism, drug trafficking, cross-border crime and cyberthreats among the priority tasks facing the association.
