The contest will be held on the Internet platform (www.ruscuisineambassador.en) that allows uniting participants from 10 countries: Armenia, Bulgaria, Hungary, Germany, Greece, Israel, Cyprus, Serbia, Finland and France. In the contest, may participate not only professional chefs of famous Russian restaurants, but also bloggers and authors of cookbooks. In other words, competitors are everyone who loves, appreciates and respects Russian culinary traditions and is ready to promote these cultural values in their country in an accessible format.
Those who want to participate should apply via the website (www.ruscuisineambassador.ru), publish a video message in their native language, and download video clips demonstrating how they cook three dishes of Russian cuisine in author's performance. The application period will last till August 4. There are two nomination: the Best Young Russian Cuisine Ambassador (age qualification 25-35 years) and Russian Taste (no age restrictions).
The winner will be announce in the beginning of August. Professional chefs (Christian Lorentzini, Regis Trigel, Adrian Ketglas, Sergei Eroshenko, Vladimir Mukhin, Berezutsky brothers, Dmitry Shurshakov), gastronomic critics (Andrei Zakharin) and representatives of Rossotrudnichestvo will become members of the contest jury. The main prize for the winners in the Best Young Ambassador nomination is a trip to Moscow, a trend tour to the best restaurants in the capital, acquaintance with famous chefs and participation in master classes.
