On July 8, the Russian Houses around the world celebrated the Day of Family, Love and Faithfulness.
In the Russian House in Alma-Ata, married couples shared the secrets of happiness and stories of their relationships. In the town of Ridder, before the Day of Family, Love and Faithfulness on July 6 and 7, families who have been married for more than 50 years were solemnly awarded with well-deserved medals “For love and faithfulness”.
A gala evening and a fair were held in Amman and Ashgabat.
14 families were awarded a medal and a diploma in the Russian House in Baku, and a concert program was also held.
A literary drawing room “Under the cover of Peter and Fevronia” dedicated to the holiday was held in the Russian House in Brest.

Dr. Hector Veerasinghe, a graduate of the Peoples Friendship University of Russia, and his wife were awarded medals “For love and faithfulness” in honor of the Day of Family, Love and Faithfulness at the Russian House in Colombo.
The Russian House in Kuala Lumpur held an open lesson on the Russian language in honor of the Day of Family, Love and Faithfulness, where they told about the history of the holiday and the decree of the President of Russia on the preservation of traditional values. The guests were treated to dumplings.
A master class on painting figure cookies and a family quiz were held at the Russian House in Madrid.
Also in India, at the Russian House in New Delhi, medals were awarded to four Russian-Indian couples who have lived together for at least 25 years.
Various events, such as songs, dances and a flash mob, were held at the Russian House in Osh to emphasize the importance of family values for all peoples.
The Tashkent and Uzbekistan dioceses, with the support of the Russian House, held a solemn awarding ceremony for the winners and prize-winners of the creative competition “Family is my wealth”, dedicated to the Day of Family, Love and Faithfulness.
In addition, Russian Houses in Astana, Yerevan, Chisinau, Phnom Penh, Rome, Sukhum presented medals to married couples of Russian compatriots who have been married for more than 25 years.
